Company Picnic

Barry's company decided to do sort of a family event instead of just a fun afternoon for the employees. So, we were supposed to meet up at 6pm at the Sounds stadium for sort of a buffet dinner before the game started at 7pm. As we were driving to the stadium, it started pouring! We got to the stadium and just sat in the car for it to let up. Our dinner was going to be out on one of the patio areas, but since it was raining still we got moved up to the 4th floor.

So, we ate up in the top most floor where there is a restaurant people can sit and watch the game. Then our seats were down right behind the Sounds dugout. It was pretty close to the action! The game was delayed until 8pm. But, we got to sit in the air conditioning for a while. Can you see that the temperature dropped? It was 68 at game time!

The first pitch! The Sounds went on to win 5-2 against the Fresno Grizzlies.

Three of the guys from the company were called up at one of the in-between-the-inning games. They had to show us how they'd wash their hair with Pert shampoo -- dancing to the music. It was pretty comical.

We had a great time even though we only got to see 4 innings.
