Hydrangea Bush

Isn't this beautiful?! We got a hydrangea bush last year that was pretty small. It did bloom last year some, but this year it's about 3x as big as it was before.
We had an afternoon shower and you can see the drops on the leaves. Isn't it beautiful?!

June Card-making

I really like this template that I found on CPS (again!). I made this card for my co-worker who is recovering from double knee surgery. I put stickers in each box to match the paper -- pink & green colors. I wrote inside, "wishing you a quick recovery."

I used the same design for this card to say thanks. I used a couple die-cut flowers that I had and put stickers over top that say thanks & Thank you. Inside I wrote, "Thank you for your thoughtfulness!"

I also made this one for my co-worker as a favor to a friend. Inside it says. "Praying for a quick recovery."

Seems like I've gotten my mojo back!

Get Well Cards

I liked how I looped the ribbon through the butterfly on this card. SOLD
The inside says, "your quick recovery."

Inside: Get well soon! SOLD

I mimicked the pattern on the paper with the flower die cuts that I put on the paper.

Simple but sweet! SOLD
I wrote Joshua 1:9 around the shapes there: "...be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you..." SOLD

These are for my co-worker who had double knee replacement surgery last week. We're doing a collection of cards to send out to her so I made up a bunch to sell. I think that she should enjoy these!

Bridal Gift

My sister-in-law requested that I make up some thank you cards for her sister who is getting married in July. Her colors are black, red, and white. This is what I came up with:

I had 4 different papers. The back paper was black with silver stripes. I tore the edges of the red paper and then put the red roses on top of that. I wrote with my calligraphy pen Thank you! and then used black metallic dots to make it look like they were holding the piece on. I crossed some red ribbon underneath.
Here are all 8 along with the bag that I put them in. Hope she likes them!
