Dinner Fun

Due to a variety of circumstances, I picked up the boys and then we had to meet Barry in Mount Juliet. Since we were there, we decided to eat at Salsarito's. Nathan has decided a cheese quesadilla and queso is pretty high on the list for dinner options. Tonight was Kid's Night so not only was his meal free (woo hoo!) but Anthony the Balloon Kid was making balloon creatures. Nathan decided on a dog. Anthony did an awesome job!

Two for Tuesday

We took this family picture for Zach's class to have on the wall in his new daycare room. (Yuck! They moved him to the 2 year old room already.)

Marvelous Monday

This mischievous scamp is becoming more vocal (he'll say "all done" when dinner's over!), yet still insists on this crazy paci. We are trying to wean him from it, but no luck so far, just lots of crying. It's been a rough week and we're hoping that this week will be better for him.

Running the Hill

If Nathan has his way, we park up on the hill at church. He loves to run up and check out the bison or other animals he imagines are up there. Then he runs down and Zach tries to follow him. This is near impossible for Zach as he can't quite figure out how to climb a hill yet. But, Nathan encourages him to try and we hope they won't roll down too far if they lose their feet from beneath them. Oh to be this free....

Learning to Ride

The weather is improving and Nathan's expressed some interest in trying to ride his bike (gift from Christmas 2015). This was his first attempt since receiving it (remember it was super warm Christmas Day and we played outside a bunch that day) and while he has a long way to go, he is trying and I think he'll get it figured out.

It's been a crazy spring - warm, then cold, warm, then cold. So, should it be a surprise that sickness is at our home? Saturday it was touch and go with Zachy feeling warmish and not feeling well. His last meal was a midmorning snack and then we didn't get him to eat anything till the afternoon on Sunday. Since he had a fever, we didn't go to church but instead watched live streaming and played outside. The fever flared again Sunday evening so Monday he'll be home from daycare. Hopefully we can get him to keep drinking and he'll begin feeling better.

 Zach pulled the rocking chair and decided to sit in it backwards while watching shows with Brother and Daddy.
