Dinosaur Boys

I wanted to get a picture of the boys since they both had dinosaur t-shirts on, but we were short on time as we tried to leave for the day.

 We tried outside, but obviously the tire was more interesting to Zach.

Two for Tuesday

We decided to pull out some other toys for the boys to play with and they loved it!

We have two little boys... How did that happen?

Monday Catch-up

Barry was dancing in his chair at dinner and making Zach laugh which is why at the end he starts dancing too. It was hilarious to see him bopping around.

Monthly Zoo Trip

Since having the family membership to the zoo, we go every month (to make it worth our while!). A month had passed since our last trip so we decided to go after church today and hope to enjoy the time before the heat of the day. It was a nice plan, but didn't quite go the way we had wanted. There were a TON of people and it was very warm. But, we found some shade and drank a lot so it wasn't too bad.

 Kangaroos lounging in the shade. The one on the left had a joey! The zookeeper said that it was big enough to come out of the pouch and had hair on it. Pretty cool.

 Nathan wanted me to take a picture. He likes zebras. His new favorite show is Lion Guard and he likes to say what the zebras say "Panic and flee!" His version doesn't quite sound like that but Barry enlightened me to what he was saying.

 Back by the grasses the alligator was peeking out of the water (look down the log and a little to the right). Zach loved it.

We saw 4 giraffes and can't wait for the rhino's habitat is finished as they'll be neighbors.

Saturday Funday

We had a bit of time before we had to be at the next thing so at Nathan's request (ummmm, really an ongoing question - can we go to the park?) we stopped by the park for some fun.

Nathan has been on a kick with wanting to play outside and going for a walk. He's disappointed when it's been too hot. I'm glad that he's been more interested to be outside as his usual request is to watch a show.

Flashback Friday

This was the second full day with the Roberts Family and we went to visit a farm. They primarily had chickens and rabbits, but had recently taken in some rescued horses. They also had a dog. The neighbors had cows too.

We got up close to one of the horses and we were impressed that Nathan would get close.

 Then he got brave and touched the horse.

 And then... can you believe it?! He RODE the horse!!!

What a cowboy!
