Crazy picture for a crazy Friday morning!

It's 50 degrees outside and raining.  We had to pull coats out to wear and the boys are wearing jeans.  What a difference 2 days make!  The storm brought a cold front and we're not sad about it.  We'd been in the mid to high 80's for about a week and are glad to cool down a bit.

Grandma Stevens gave this giraffe to Nathan for his first Christmas.

Buddy (as Barry & Nathan are calling him) has been in Nathan's room ever since, but within the last month or so, Nathan has taken a greater interest in him, wrestling with him and toting him around the house.  Riding on his back is a typical thing for him to do.  Good thing Buddy takes it in stride, right?!

Pepped up!

We pulled out the Pepped Up t-shirt (hand-me-down from the Vernons!) to wear Sunday afternoon.  Does Nathan look pepped up?! :)

Mother's Day

Nathan got me a beautiful necklace and an electric can opener (one of the items I've wanted for like 15 years!).  He also made the cupcake wrapper flowers at daycare.  What a great surprise!  He liked opening each gift and seeing what it was.

We didn't do much during the day as it was very warm.  We just hung out and played.  

Visiting A Friend

 This is our little friend who belongs to Uncle Rick.  Isn't she a cutey?!

Nathan wasn't so sure about her, though.  He liked playing with her toys! :)

We went to surprise Uncle Rick for his birthday (but I didn't get a picture with the birthday boy) and he was surprised!  We hung out for a while and got to see the family.  Too bad we can't celebrate birthdays with the other two (Melissa & Traci) who have birthdays on the 12th! 

Muffins with Mom

Do you see our little guy?  He's on the right, center picture.  His sign says "She's caring" but the look on his face is just priceless.  If he could be any more sad to sit there!

Daycare does Muffins with Mom for Mother's Day and we went a little early to eat one.  I didn't get a picture of the two of us, but hopefully Mrs. Jenny Lee will pass along the one she took of us.

Nathan was sick yesterday -- when I went to wake him up, he had thrown up in bed (I don't think he even realized it!).  We brought him into the bathtub and Barry hosed him down as he continued to throw up and have diarrhea.  [Just what you wanted to know, right?!]  He continued occasionally throwing up for about 1 1/2 hrs. and then did fine the rest of the day.  Barry is planning to pick Nathan up early today since he's still not 100%.
