Momma & Her Boys

I wanted to get a picture with Zachy and just how it was with the weekly profile pictures, Nathan had to get in on it too!

Who can resist these cuties?!

One Month Old

We'll have stats updated on Monday, but it seems like this little guy is growing and doing okay.  Just like Nathan and his turtle, Zach will be hanging out with his monkey each month. Whew! We're making it!

Helping Out

Nathan has continued helping, although the novelty is wearing off.  He is enthusiastic with hugs and kisses for his brother and can get a little excessively affectionate.  But, he is trying to be a good brother and learn what that means for him.  He also looks forward each day to hear from Daddy and play with him at night. We're learning how to make this all work.

Holding On

Zachary has not quite figured out that bath time is fun (of course it took Nathan till he was almost 3 to really enjoy it), so after his bath, when I was trying to comfort him, he took hold of Barry as if to say "Hey, Buddy.  I can't believe you did that to me!"  Poor thing!

Coloring Fun

While we've had this desk for Nathan for quite a few months, it wasn't until recently that we realized the top was a dry erase board.  So, in our quest to fill time together, I had him use one of the markers we had.  He would switch from one hand to the other while he colored, but did favor the right hand.

After a week of doggy, Aunt Chelle, and Brianna, it's frequently the topic of conversation about what they're doing and why they're not with us. It was a great start to our time together to have them with us.

Brothers

Nathan wants to hold onto Zach which is all fine and well until Zach starts crying! It is rather cute to have him ask to hold him and love on him. Nathan is definitely trying to figure out his place in all these changes.  For now, holding Zach is a simple thing and he can handle it!
