I don't know if it was a rude awakening or what, but we were told in order to get Nathan in the preschool class at daycare, he needed to work on a few things. Personally, I don't see how she can set these demands when the rooms have been based on age - not ability.
So, we've been working on printing Nathan's name and also colors & shapes so that he will be able to move up. What do you think?! It's hard to tell since he wrote in green too, but I wrote three of them and then he wrote three.
That is just not right. They are the ones who have had Nathan every day for his whole life. Why haven't they taught him these skills?
